How to care for your shoes

Caring for your Ballroom Shoes

Most Ballroom Shoes have suede soles, which allow the dancer to feel the floor under the foot. It is most important that the shoe responds to the dancers movements and the suede sole will allow you to glide across the dance floor without slipping yet enable you to spin and turn with effortless ease.

Manufacturers recommend brushing the soles regularly with a suede brush to prevent a build up of dirt and wax etc. Replacement suede soles can also be purchased in a variety of colours and fit directly onto the existing sole.

Suede brushes and Ladies and Gents replacement Ballroom soles can be found on our accessories page.
