Help with sizing
Listed below are some general guidelines designed to help you decide which make and style of shoe may be right for you:
1) Katz Topline – Generally fit to size and are usually suitable for average to wide feet. If choosing a Ladies closed toe shoe which is tapered at the front, we recommend going up 1/2 a size (e.g. Charlotte, Gabrielle). Men’s & Children’s usually fit according to normal shoe size.
2) Freed – These shoes tend to suit people with narrow, shallow feet and should be ordered according to normal shoe size. However for someone with a slightly wider foot we recommend trying 1/2 a size larger.
3) Freed Dance Steps (formerly Equity) – These shoes all have a width fitting. Each style is made in one width only and varies from D to G+ (see shoe description for more details). Generally, all styles are generously sized and unless your foot is very wide you may need to order 1/2 a size smaller.
4) Roch Valley – Most styles fit to size except Children’s shoes. As most Children’s shoes don’t come in 1/2 sizes we advise ordering one size larger than normal shoe size.
5) DSI London – Generally, these shoes fit to size. Certain styles also come in a wide fitting option.
6) Tappers & Pointers - Generally all styles fit quite true to size
7) Tappers & Pointers - Ballroom Dresses
