Help with sizing

Listed below are some general guidelines designed to help you decide which make and style of shoe may be right for you:

1) Freed – These shoes tend to suit people with narrow, shallow feet and should be ordered according to normal shoe size. However for someone with a slightly wider foot we recommend trying half a size larger.

2) Freed Dance Steps (formerly Equity) – These shoes all have a width fitting. Each style is made in one width only and varies from D to G+ (see shoe description for more details). Generally, all styles are generously sized and unless your foot is very wide you may need to order half a size smaller.

3) Roch Valley – Most styles fit to size except Children’s shoes. As most Children’s shoes don’t come in half sizes we advise going up to the next size rather than down to the size below.

4) DSI London – Generally, these shoes fit to size. Certain styles also come in a wide fitting option.

5) Tappers & Pointers Dance Shoes  - Generally all styles fit quite true to size.

6) Tappers & Pointers Gymnastics outfits - Most styles fit true to size. However some fabrics have less stretch than others (e.g. Foil fabrics) so you may need to go up a size.

7) Tappers & Pointers - Ballroom Dresses
